North Cornwall

Here are some links to our favourite things to do.

On our doorstep you will find some of the best surfing, sailing and coastal activities in the country.

Kayaking, coasteering, stand up paddle boarding, wakeboarding, water skiing, inflatable rides, sailing, speed boat rides, fishing trips on the sea, boogie boarding, long boarding, surfing, and dolphin trips are all available in Rock, Port Isaac, Port Quin or Polzeath.

We are surrounded by beaches, coves, historic fishing villages and breath taking costal countryside. You can walk from the campsite to many beaches via the Coast Path, or you can jump in the car and get to 8 different beaches in under 10 minutes.

We are a 20 minute walk from two Nathan Outlaw restaurants, and a 10 minute drive and a short boat ride across the Camel Estuary from Rick Stein’s restaurants in Padstow.

The Camel trail cycle path runs from the Moors to the sea, through woods, along rivers and down the estuary. You can hire bikes, tandems, and trailers, to join the trail in Wadebridge, which is our closest market town. It is a wonderful day out through stunning countryside. If you end up in Padstow you can pop in to Stein’s Fish and Chip shop and enjoy a pint on the harbor wall.

Close to us we have many high quality tourist attractions ranging from The Eden Project (45 Mins), to outstanding National Trust and English Heritage properties like Lanhydrock and Tintagel Castle. There are loads of kids adventure parks, indoor places to play and outdoor adrenalin pumping activities if you fancy a day away from the beach.

Weather it is riding horses along a deserted sandy beach, taking a boat out to see some dolphins, playing a round of golf on a cliff top, or booking the kids in to surfing lessons so you can sneak off for a romantic lunch, we are happy to help you get the most out of your holiday, just ask.
